Hola mensen,

Dit is het laatste bericht op dit blog. Vanaf nu is de nieuwe website van Holanda Custom Surfboards online en daarop is ook ruimte voor het blog. Alle berichten van dit blog staan daar al op en alle nieuwe toevoegingen komen alleen op die site. Het shop blog komt helemaal te vervallen.

 

 

Dus check de nieuwe site en blijf deze checken voor het laatste news.

 

Binnenkort worden er weer verse stick geshaped dus al je nog op zoek bent naar een cool board neem dan ff contact op met de shaper.

Hallo beste mensen,

De zomer is weer voorbij en de meeste mensen zijn al lekker weg geweest. Voor de zomer zijn er weer veel Holanda boards verkocht en er zitten daarom weer nieuwe aan te komen. De eerste orders voor nieuwe Custom boards zijn al geplaatst. Dus als er nog interesse is in een nieuw board mail de shaper en kom eens langs voordat het foam weer op is.

Er zijn momenteel ook nog een paar boards op voorraad die weg mogen voor scherpe prijzen.
Zelf ga ik deze week op vakantie. Verder is er weinig activiteit op het blog de laatste tijd want ik ben met de nieuwe site bezig. We zijn al ver maar over een paar weken gaat deze eindelijk live. Dit blog zal dan komen te vervallen.

De voorraad voor de zomer is weer af en de boards vliegen weer de deur uit!
Hier een pic van de trotse eigenaar van de nieuwe "DOBBER", het verse model van HCS in 2012.

Dus als je nog een cool board zoekt, stuur een mailtje naar de shaper voordat de scherpe aanbiedingen allemaal weg zijn.

Weer een tevreden klant

De board voor de 2012 zomer zijn weer bijna af. Deze week worden de laatste geschuurd en dan zijn ze er klaar voor. Hier heeft Bas net zijn Custom HMF board in ontvangst genomen. Hij wilde een heel clean board en dat is zeker gelukt, we zijn beide stoked over het resultaat. Nu nog waves om hem te testen.

Holanda surfboards in de Noordzee Boardstore.

If you want to have a look at a few Holanda surfboards you can now visit the Noordzee Boardstore in de badhuisstraat in Scheveningen. Here is a pic of my friends who run the shop.

As you can see they have the most boards of any shop in Holland with reasonable prices.

Lots of glass

Hola,

I've been glassing like crazy lately. All the boards are now glassed and prepared for the hotcoats. This week i will finish the coating and from then on its sanding them all. So in a few weeks the new summer 2012 batch of boards will be ready. Are you looking for a cool board, drop me a line because you can still take your pick for good prices!

This is the new model for 2012 the "DOBBER". Its a fun shortboard with a lot of volume, wide tail and nose, thick rail but only 6'1". Here is the new logo for the shape just glassed on the board.

Glassing the new logo's

Hey there,

Here are the first new shots of the new logo's. The top one is the main logo and it turned out really clean in the yellow background of the board. The second one is a new logo for custom boards only. And i am experimenting with sheetgols on that one. I'm still not sure about the result but when i used the flash on the camera it looks pretty cool. I'm going to change the custom logo a bit to make it better.

I'll make a blog post with all the new logo's when they are all finished.

Painted TARBOT

Hey there,

This is the painted TARBOT from yesterday. The colours dont look good on the pics though! In reality they look really fresh.

Finally the glassing starts today! It took me way too long to clean everything up and prepare all stuff. The first boards are going to get the new logo's! And i have an experiment with sheetgold on the logos.

Latest TARBOT

This is the latest shaped TARBOT. For now the last shaped boards, its time to start glassing all the boards i shaped recently! This shape is 6'2" x 20" x 2½".

New shape for 2012

Hola,

This is the new shape for the 2012 season, not sure what to call it yet though. Its sort of inspired on a board Dane Reynolds surfs. Its small, wide, thick and fun! This one is around 6'1" x 19½ x 2½. Has a flat rocker, full nose, a wide tail and will catch anything.

I used 4 shades of green in the paintjob together with "grootmoeders kleedje" as a stencil. It looks quite sick.

Custom HMF

Hello,

We shaped it a while ago but we finally painted the board. Its a 6'4" HMF for Bas. The shape is really nice and the two tone paintjob worked out well.

Shaping a new shape today and then I am going to glass a whole lot of board for the summer!

The 8mm shaping video

This is the Holanda Custom Surfboards 8mm shaping video. The footage was shot using 8mm film and digitalized later on. We used a timelaps to create the movement.

New HMF shape

 Hello people,

Been busy again lately, a lot of digital stuff going on. Finally managed to finish the first 2 video's , they will be on the blog very soon! New logo's are coming and the last few blank of the latest batch of boards are going to be shaped next week. Then its glassing time. So if your interested in any of the recently shaped board on this blog , contact me and it can still be yours.

 This board is the new HMF shape. A fishy shortboard about 6'3". The shock blue paintjob looks very tight on the white foam. And below is a still i used in a video.
